5 Stars Fresh Face All Day!
Read the other reviews…they sum it up. This is one of the best pressed powders I’ve ever used! I literally only needed to touch-up once during the day (and that was well after lunch). It’s summer time in the South…which means more oil, more powder, more often. The fact my face still looked fresh and matte after 4 hours of wear was amazing! I used Get Even to set my makeup this morning (Boi-ing, Philosophy’s Supernatural, Lancome blush) and didn’t need to retouch until this afternoon! Amazing!

5 Stars This product REALLY works!
I’m always on the lookout for a magic product that will do everything it says, not just partial promises. This product delivers on all counts. It mattifies, it evens out skin tone (I have Rosecea and oily skin). It has cut my beauty routine in-half. I use a good primer (I’ve tried many; and like Avon’s new Magix) and then Get Even. I had to get a medium shade as the light shade made me look ghostly, but I use it under my eyes. I love it and it’s worth the price.

This powder does a decent job of eliminating shine, but it also somehow draws attention to other things, like small hairs on my face that I never knew I had before but are suddenly super-visible whenever I apply this product. Clinique’s pressed powder is much more superior, and I won’t purchase the Benefit brand again.

5 Stars I found my HG of powders!
For me, this is by far, the best powder I have ever tried. Even if you have to use a heavy concealer under this powder for serious coverage, and you have oily skin, this powder will have you touching your face hours after applied, and still feeling soft without that greasy feeling. I just ordered several more in my color to keep me stocked. Oily faced girls,(even non-OFG’s, as this won’t dry you out)… I hope you try this and love it as much as I do, because I have spent a fortune trying to find something to cover, not cake, not turn orange, not break me out, keep the oil at bay, and at least cover the less than perfect skin without looking obvious!,…I finally found it!

I’ve used this powder for years – since I don’t use foundation I prefer Get Even because it offers more coverage & evens out my skin tone more than other powders. It’s expensive but lasts me approx. 6mos so it’s worth it to me. And the packaging is cute too.

OK, when I first received this product I was in love. IT was great coverage, last all day with small touch-ups, and great color match..but then when it started warming up outside, I started turning orange! I don’t know what happened, the first month was great, so now im back on the search..i guess its good for ppl that live in the north, but not so good for texas ppl

5 Stars Wonderful collection
I have had endless enjoyment using this palette (and the mild glitter, which I love, shouldn’t give the impression this is only for the very young – I’m over 50.) The combinations and ranges of colours, only a few very intense (and well suited for the crease area, or for using as a liner), allow for a splendid combination. I dislike neutrals and love vivid colours, but these are not extreme or hard looking, and blend beautifully. Since ‘a little goes a long way,’ it is a very good value.

5 Stars Lovely & Lasting
These colors are beautiful and not overpowering. I have many sheer shadows that only appear in flash photography for some reason so I was looking for colors that would really show without having to layer it on or without looking like Mimi from The Drew Carrey show. These are soft, matte, and nicely pigmented. Unlike other shadows that end up dusting my cheeks as well, these stay put, even without primer. The bonus is that many youtube makeup gurus use these colors in their tutorials so you can do a search using the palette or shadow name for looks and ideas.

This collection of shadows is a must have for any makeup lover. The colors will suit any person, as there is a wide variety of choices to pick from. These ones aren’t like the other urban decay shadows which have a tendency to become glittery. These are just shimmery but nothing like the others. Also the primer that comes with it is a must have as well, it makes your shadows stay put all day with no creasing especially if you have oily lids. I’ve got almost every urban decay box set since they have the silver ones containing the whole face kits, and i have to say i’ve never been disappointed.

5 Stars So good for my older skin
I hate to say it, but I’m older. : ) And this makeup works well with my skin. It covers without being too heavy, and it helps with a few red spots that I have from psoriasis. The cool thing is that my makeup doesn’t feel caked on or heavy, but light and natural. I’ve looked for a lot of different makeups, but this is the first time I’ve tried something in a long time and knew I had found my “forever” product.

2 Stars Not for dry sensitive skin
I’ve always used Clinique Superbalanced foundation, but info on this “dewy anti-aging” makeup mentioned that it had more/heavier coverage than I’d been using. I wanted to try heavier coverage due to some breakouts I’d been having during a stressful time. This makeup did have more coverage, I think, but seemed to dry to a matte finish and really dried up my already-dry sensitive skin. As I think another reviewer mentioned, a drying formula is not ideal for “anti-aging” and is also not “dewy” as the name of this makeup suggests. I will stick with my Superbalanced Clinique (I use the “fair” color for my pale skin)as it doesn’t dry my skin out.

I am older but have a nice complexion, a few spots and blemishes. What I love about this makeup is that is has good coverage but does not cake, goes on very smooth. Also, the SPF15 is good for being in the sun.

5 Stars The only kind I use
I use the bisque 6, and I am so happy to finally be able to find a foundation that doesn’t turn my skin orange. I also have very oily skin, and since this is water-based it won’t clog my pores and it doesn’t perform a “disappearing act” after a few hours of wear. I suggest using a foundation brush to apply this because I found that it goes on smoother that way instead of with a wedge sponge.

4 Stars Glides on, feels and looks good
I like this product- and I’m always searching for the right foundation. I am an older woman, and this foundation slides on easily, feels very natural, and covers and blends well.I bought it at a duty free shop in Amsterdam- and paid more than this (because of the exchange rate).

My only complaint- I thought I would be able to replace it easily on line- but I cannot find the name of the color ont the bottle- it may be on a label that fell off. I find it impossible to buy foundation I can’t try- as attested to by the many unused bottles and tubes cluttering my drawers.

So, it’s back to the cosmetice counter for me. I wish there was a way to buy some inexpensive samplers to test for the color and texture.

5 Stars Must Try!
I’ve tried a few different primers, but was never sold on them as they made my skin feel greasy and unclean. While I feel like a primer is necessary, especially when using mineral makeup, I couldn’t seem to find one that worked well with my combination skin and didn’t make me break out.

Korres totally changed that! I use a tiny bit after an oil-free moisturizer to help keep loose powder or mineral makeup to stick all day. Since it’s a natural product, it is great for sensitive skin. It doesn’t make your skin feel greasy or that you have a lot of product on your face. Even over moisturizer it works into your skin and helps keep your makeup in place.

I’ve been using this for almost 3 weeks now with no breaking out. It is definitely worth giving a try, especially with the threat of the dreaded summer-melty-face coming soon.

5 Stars Great stuff!
I tried few primers, but I wasn’t using them b/c I don’t like this weird silicone finish. Even Tarte silicone free got that feel like my face is wrapped in plastic foil. Basically I felt like a wear primer, every one of them, that’s why it was poitless to use them over good sunscreen. I tried Korres primer in the store and felt like a regular very lightweight cream so I bought it.

From the first time I use it on my face with make up I felt in love. There’s a huge difference in applying make up after that! I use much less product, it glides, and I mean GLIDES!

A little goes long way, looks like I need just a little bit more than a pea size to do my face. The tube is only 1 oz but using sparingly will last a while. At first looks white but get absorbed quick.

The best thing is that Korres primer is very natural, silicone and paraben free, and actually is not bad or neutral like most primers, but makes skin healthier.I feel my skin breaths and it’s young and fresh.

The only primer I’m gonna use.

5 Stars Prime time
I just bought a tube of this after sampling it in store and I am in love. I’ve tried other primers, which looked nice and sort of felt nice, but because they were silicone based it just felt fake and to me it felt like they just sat there. The only time I ever wanted to use one was in the winter time when it didn’t feel too hot, but even then I didn’t really want to use them. But now with the Korres primer, I love it. It smells nice, a bit citrusy, but not too heavy and it applies nicely, like a light lotion. The skin feels soft and smooth and the makeup seems to last longer too after applying over the primer. It feels nice enough to want to just use it as a moisturizer as well!

2 Stars Breakout city!
I usually use Bare Minerals and I was looking for a pressed foundation that I could carry in my purse. The colors were good, and matched my skin tone, and the compact is reasonably priced. BUT… it gave me really bad breakouts everywhere that I applied it. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just imagining it, so I put the compact aside and tried it again two weeks later.

The breakouts came back. So this makeup went into the trash. Very disappointing. I have sensitive dry skin, but I can use Clinique and Bare Minerals with no problems. I just guess I will have to continue carrying the powdered mineral product and have a dusty make-up bag.

Conclusion: Not a good choice for sensitive skin, big risk of breakouts.

4 Stars Decent foundation
I started using this about a month ago and I like it a lot. I use a foundation brush to put it on, the coverage lasts all day and I’ve gotten compliments on my complexion since I’ve started using it. But I’ve noticed that the foundation tends to clump into little balls, making it harder to apply (and sometimes they fall into my sink, what a waste). It’s also shrunk a bit since I bought it, even though the sales lady said that wouldn’t happen as long as I was diligent about closing the case, which I have been. Other than a few complaints, a great product

4 Stars The only drawback is the price
This foundation makes my skin look flawless. I’m a fair skinned redhead, prone to having pink undertones in my skin. Water canvas in Porcelain covers the redness without making me look “made up.” I get tons of complements on my skin when I wear this.

The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because it’s just too expensive for me to wear every day, but every other foundation I’ve tried looks so obvious in comparison.

I use to sell this product, then started getting addicted to it myself. It has been so healthy for my skin and such great coverage. It really depends on the person taste though and you skin type. I like the fact that it feels wet and goes smoothly on the skin.

5 Stars An Excellent Product
I got a Philosophy sample package over a year ago and just recently decided to try out this product. (I’d seen it advertised on QVC and fell for the fabulous advertising, what can I say?) I have to admit, of all the samples I tried (Hope in a Jar and the eyecream to name a couple), this is my all-time favorite and the only one that lives up to the hype.

I use it over my inexpensive makeup and it makes my sensitive ‘baby boomer’ skin as smooth as silk. In warm weather, I used it alone and it smoothed out my skin and did disguise large pores quite well.

If you’ve got the bucks, this is an excellent buy. It doesn’t take much of the product to do the job and I’ll definitely buy more.

1 Star Bad stuff.
As a primer it works ok, but I checked ingredients, and it’s the same stuff like in Philosophy On a clear day Protection cream. Under long description hides make up primer, full of silicone and it’s derivatives (just google it; all those words ending with “thicone” and “thiconol” plus parabens used as a preservatives. No wonder some sensitive skin breaks out or has a rush.

Try Korres primer, 99% silicone free, natural, does wonders for skin and it’s just like a lightweight cream full of good stuff for skin. I love most of Philosophy products, but this one is a dud.

This was my first but definately not last, philosophy purchase and I absolutely love it! I have a problem conceiling large pores but this does the trick and more. Highly recomend it!
