5 Stars The only kind I use
I use the bisque 6, and I am so happy to finally be able to find a foundation that doesn’t turn my skin orange. I also have very oily skin, and since this is water-based it won’t clog my pores and it doesn’t perform a “disappearing act” after a few hours of wear. I suggest using a foundation brush to apply this because I found that it goes on smoother that way instead of with a wedge sponge.

4 Stars Glides on, feels and looks good
I like this product- and I’m always searching for the right foundation. I am an older woman, and this foundation slides on easily, feels very natural, and covers and blends well.I bought it at a duty free shop in Amsterdam- and paid more than this (because of the exchange rate).

My only complaint- I thought I would be able to replace it easily on line- but I cannot find the name of the color ont the bottle- it may be on a label that fell off. I find it impossible to buy foundation I can’t try- as attested to by the many unused bottles and tubes cluttering my drawers.

So, it’s back to the cosmetice counter for me. I wish there was a way to buy some inexpensive samplers to test for the color and texture.

5 Stars Must Try!
I’ve tried a few different primers, but was never sold on them as they made my skin feel greasy and unclean. While I feel like a primer is necessary, especially when using mineral makeup, I couldn’t seem to find one that worked well with my combination skin and didn’t make me break out.

Korres totally changed that! I use a tiny bit after an oil-free moisturizer to help keep loose powder or mineral makeup to stick all day. Since it’s a natural product, it is great for sensitive skin. It doesn’t make your skin feel greasy or that you have a lot of product on your face. Even over moisturizer it works into your skin and helps keep your makeup in place.

I’ve been using this for almost 3 weeks now with no breaking out. It is definitely worth giving a try, especially with the threat of the dreaded summer-melty-face coming soon.

5 Stars Great stuff!
I tried few primers, but I wasn’t using them b/c I don’t like this weird silicone finish. Even Tarte silicone free got that feel like my face is wrapped in plastic foil. Basically I felt like a wear primer, every one of them, that’s why it was poitless to use them over good sunscreen. I tried Korres primer in the store and felt like a regular very lightweight cream so I bought it.

From the first time I use it on my face with make up I felt in love. There’s a huge difference in applying make up after that! I use much less product, it glides, and I mean GLIDES!

A little goes long way, looks like I need just a little bit more than a pea size to do my face. The tube is only 1 oz but using sparingly will last a while. At first looks white but get absorbed quick.

The best thing is that Korres primer is very natural, silicone and paraben free, and actually is not bad or neutral like most primers, but makes skin healthier.I feel my skin breaths and it’s young and fresh.

The only primer I’m gonna use.

5 Stars Prime time
I just bought a tube of this after sampling it in store and I am in love. I’ve tried other primers, which looked nice and sort of felt nice, but because they were silicone based it just felt fake and to me it felt like they just sat there. The only time I ever wanted to use one was in the winter time when it didn’t feel too hot, but even then I didn’t really want to use them. But now with the Korres primer, I love it. It smells nice, a bit citrusy, but not too heavy and it applies nicely, like a light lotion. The skin feels soft and smooth and the makeup seems to last longer too after applying over the primer. It feels nice enough to want to just use it as a moisturizer as well!

2 Stars Breakout city!
I usually use Bare Minerals and I was looking for a pressed foundation that I could carry in my purse. The colors were good, and matched my skin tone, and the compact is reasonably priced. BUT… it gave me really bad breakouts everywhere that I applied it. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just imagining it, so I put the compact aside and tried it again two weeks later.

The breakouts came back. So this makeup went into the trash. Very disappointing. I have sensitive dry skin, but I can use Clinique and Bare Minerals with no problems. I just guess I will have to continue carrying the powdered mineral product and have a dusty make-up bag.

Conclusion: Not a good choice for sensitive skin, big risk of breakouts.

4 Stars Decent foundation
I started using this about a month ago and I like it a lot. I use a foundation brush to put it on, the coverage lasts all day and I’ve gotten compliments on my complexion since I’ve started using it. But I’ve noticed that the foundation tends to clump into little balls, making it harder to apply (and sometimes they fall into my sink, what a waste). It’s also shrunk a bit since I bought it, even though the sales lady said that wouldn’t happen as long as I was diligent about closing the case, which I have been. Other than a few complaints, a great product

4 Stars The only drawback is the price
This foundation makes my skin look flawless. I’m a fair skinned redhead, prone to having pink undertones in my skin. Water canvas in Porcelain covers the redness without making me look “made up.” I get tons of complements on my skin when I wear this.

The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because it’s just too expensive for me to wear every day, but every other foundation I’ve tried looks so obvious in comparison.

I use to sell this product, then started getting addicted to it myself. It has been so healthy for my skin and such great coverage. It really depends on the person taste though and you skin type. I like the fact that it feels wet and goes smoothly on the skin.

5 Stars An Excellent Product
I got a Philosophy sample package over a year ago and just recently decided to try out this product. (I’d seen it advertised on QVC and fell for the fabulous advertising, what can I say?) I have to admit, of all the samples I tried (Hope in a Jar and the eyecream to name a couple), this is my all-time favorite and the only one that lives up to the hype.

I use it over my inexpensive makeup and it makes my sensitive ‘baby boomer’ skin as smooth as silk. In warm weather, I used it alone and it smoothed out my skin and did disguise large pores quite well.

If you’ve got the bucks, this is an excellent buy. It doesn’t take much of the product to do the job and I’ll definitely buy more.

1 Star Bad stuff.
As a primer it works ok, but I checked ingredients, and it’s the same stuff like in Philosophy On a clear day Protection cream. Under long description hides make up primer, full of silicone and it’s derivatives (just google it; all those words ending with “thicone” and “thiconol” plus parabens used as a preservatives. No wonder some sensitive skin breaks out or has a rush.

Try Korres primer, 99% silicone free, natural, does wonders for skin and it’s just like a lightweight cream full of good stuff for skin. I love most of Philosophy products, but this one is a dud.

This was my first but definately not last, philosophy purchase and I absolutely love it! I have a problem conceiling large pores but this does the trick and more. Highly recomend it!

5 Stars BEST foundation ever out there!!!!
I was never one of those people blessed with good skin. I had real bad acne as a teenager and I experimented with all kinds of cleanser and makeup which is probably why my skin is so problematic. I finally overcame acne and was left with permanent scars, blemishes, and discoloration. I’ve tried all kinds of foundation from cheap drugstore to expensive department stores. I could never find one that was perfect until I came across this MAC Studio Fix. I was skeptical when I first used it b/c it looked and felt like a powder. I thought there’s no way this is going to give me coverage and hide my imperfections. Boy, was I wrong! As soon as I applied it to my face I was immediately sold! It made my face look flawless, smooth, and glowing! It evened out my skin tone and my blemishes/pores were not visible. You may want to purchase the MAC brush instead of using the sponge that comes with it. Believe me, it made a whole world of difference in the way the foundation looked. I thought I could be cheap and use a regular face brush from Wal-Mart, but it didn’t apply on well. Once I went back to MAC and bought the brush 168, I saw a big difference! Trust me, if you have oily skin and blemishes it’s worth a try. It gives medium to full coverage. It will not look cakey if you have the right brush. I’m so happy that I finally tried this foundation. I’m totally hooked!

5 Stars Best Foundation for Oily Skin
I have tried nearly every foundation ever made, from cheap to expensive, and this is the best one for my skin. I am 32 years old, and I have oily, sensitive skin with redness/broken capillaries from rosacea, with occasional breakouts. This is so easy and quick to apply. I recommend using the sponge that comes with it (it’s hidden underneath the foundation) to pat on your skin. I use bare minerals bisque beforehand to cover up my large pores and broken capillaries, and then just pat on the m.a.c. I stopped using bare minerals foundation because the brushes irritated my skin, the color didn’t match, and it didn’t cover well. This absorbs oil, has great buildable coverage,doesn’t settle into fine lines, and leaves a beautiful matte finish (not a dead-matte, but a soft, natural-looking matte). It comes in so many colors, you’re bound to find the perfect match for your skin. I have very fair skin, and N3 is perfect for me because it also neutralizes the redness in my face. It lets your skin breathe, and never clogs your pores. This is perfect for someone with oily skin and/or rosacea. It’s quite affordable, and lasts a long time. I LOVE IT!

Ok, so i love MAC products and i have a few that my mom bought me for school. I was so excited to get the stuff on but when i put it on it came out cakey, no matter how little i put on. It’s just gross.

I also have the liquid kind thats a very good product but it broke me out soo bad, i’m 14 so this was a BIG deal.

4 Stars Good foundation but a little heavy, may be better for oily skin
Overall this is a good foundation but probably just not for me. The coverage this gives it medium to heavy depending on how much you put on. You can apply it with a damp sponge for a super heavy coverage but I’d use a brush if your not doing this. I conceal everything that needs to to be hidden and use a lighter foundation all over which is one of the reasons this didn’t really work out for me. You could tell I had something on with this, it was a little heavy to look completely natural. The next reason I didnt like it so much is because my face looked a little chalky and lost the nice glow. My skin isnt dry or oily but a normal texture (thanks to lamer!). The reason I still gave this 4 stars is because for someone who needs more coverage with oily skin I think this would be great. Later on I found mac studiotech and it’s the most wonderful foundation I’ve ever tried. I’ve gone though just about every single foundation at sephora and this is what works for me best. After concealing what I need to hide it evens everything out so well and looks completly natural and keeps the nice glow LaMer gives me without looking oily or chalky. I know this is supposed to be a review abotu studiofix but I thought the comparison would help someone! These both come in a bazzilion shades which is great for very pale (me!) or very dark skintones who have trouble finding the right color. Their color names are confusing tho – I am N3 is studio fix and NW15 in studiotech. In addition what they call cool (NC or C) is actually warm and nice versa. Definitely go to a mac counter to get it matched to your skin!
