Wrinkles

If you’ve neglected your legs, you have vericose veins, bruises or an uneven tone, here’s how you can get back on track, no self-tanners or tanning booths required!

Price for these products range from $195 – $370.

Time Traveling: In some cases it appears that time, travel and experience also raises a products price. Guerlain spent 10 years researching the anti-aging properties of the orchid – a flower that blooms and maintains its freshness for a relatively long time. After building an orchidarium in China, researchers discovered the orchid’s secret lies within its roots. Using careful and costly extraction methods, Guerlain incorporated the orchid roots into its renowned Orchidée Impériale Cream and a revamped version, The New-Generation Imperial Orchid Molecular Extract. Price for these products ranges from $350 – $400.

Other high-end designers using unique and unusual ingredients to enhance their products include Orlane’s Cremé Royale Eye Contour lotion ($300) containing 24-karat gold fragments that help to fight crow’s feet, Chanel’s Précision Sublimage Fluid ($375) an anti-aging cream that incorporates Madagascan fruit and Crème De La Mer’s Regenerating Serum ($250) which uses stem cells from sea holly to interrupt the aging process.

Teeth and gum sensitivities? Looking for a more “granola” option? All you need is one ripe strawberry and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to create an at-home whitening solution that’s chemical-free!

Crush the strawberry to a pulp, then mix with the baking soda until blended. Use a soft toothbrush to spread the mixture onto your teeth. Leave on for five minutes, then brush thoroughly with toothpaste to remove the berry–baking soda mix. Rinse. (A little floss will help get rid of any strawberry seeds!) Use once per week as the acid could damage the enamel on your teeth if used too frequently.

Give your cheeks some "POP!"

Add a dash of pepper, and spice up your look this summer! We caught up with Emma Bazan, Makeup Artist and Brow Extraordinaire at Pepper Pastor Salon to get her stay flawless all over tips.

Luscious Legs:

If legs are feeling pale and sallow, try mixing a bit of liquid foundation a shade darker and liquid highlighter to body lotion. This will smooth out minor imperfections and add a hint of color.

Two-Toned Cheeks with Dimension:

Use two different cheek colors to create dimension and definition use a subdued neutral tone blush on cheekbones and add a pop of color with a brighter blush shade.

Finally, It’s All In The Details:
When filling in eyebrows, use a spooly make up brush to comb hairs up and blend hard lines.

When applying mascara to lashes add lift to the center of eyes to create a wide eye effect by focusing on the center lashes.

Evoke An Icon:

To create a luscious full red lip, line lip with a deep red lip liner and blend to soften color. Fill with a layer a true red lip stick all over lips and last, add an orange red lip color to center of lips. These three shades create dimension of full Marilyn Monroe lips.

Easy, Breezy Summer:

For a quick summer look use liquid highlighter (Benefit’s Moonbeam) on cheek bones, inner corners of eyes, above lips cupids bow. Add a pop of color with cream blush on apples of cheeks, followed by a coat of black mascara. If feeling extra pale, brush on some bronzer to forehead, temples, cheekbones, bridge of nose, and chin.

So how do celebs get that bronze-California-beach-babe look — without staining their couture gowns, or fumbling (in the nude!) with tanning sprays, creams and mousses?

Read on for tips on achieving a fab summer glow, sans orange-y palms and sticky skin.

Ditch the self-tanner and go the route of Charlize Theron, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez and amp up that to-the-beach glow with a bronze smokey eye.

Create it as you would a darker eye makeup look, but substitute it with golden shadows for a sun-kissed look without the streaking or the goop.

Oil It Up: Lauren loves to switch between using castor oil and olive oil as a facial wash. Synthetic oils will clog pores.

Optical Illusion: Dark lipstick will make teeth appear whiter.

Make Lipstick Stick: Very lightly sweep toothpaste over lips to hold your lip liner longer and prevent feathering.

Turn Up The Volume: To avoid flat hair, do not apply conditioner to roots.
