How To Avoid Tired Looking Eyes

Everyone is always looking for more tips about how to freshen and brighten the eyes. The fact is that you have to take a few steps on a daily basis the keep the eyes bright, then you can apply a few clever tricks for fresh looking eyes.

Beyond getting lots of rest, eating right, and drinking lots of water, here are a few tips that will help you keep your eyes sparkling.

As a celebrity makeup artist to stars such as Rihanna, Mally Roncal recommends a dab of soft, shimmery white eye shadow on the inner corner of your eyes to make the whites of the eyes look ultra-bright.

Mally also suggests using shimmery amber tones, which are great for any eye color! They reflect light and make eyes look whiter and fresher.

Hollywood optometrist, Dr. Elise Brisco says: “Never go to sleep with your makeup on! Sleeping with makeup gives bacteria a place to live and hide, so always remove it before going to bed.”

In addition to removing makeup, Dr. Brisco reminds all contact lens wearers to take out their lenses before going to bed!

Mally offers this cure for puffy tired eyes: “Dip chamomile teabags in cold water, and chill in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, apply to closed eyes to look youthful and refreshed.”
