I Have long List of wrong colore fowndtion, too pinky or too gray too dark, u name it I have been using it, till I found Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual skin Enhancer in SX 08, my search is over I found my soulmate @ last ! I light it up with spf lotion for day, and with highlighting creams for night and u dont need lots of powder 2 set it up or for extra cover, and it last and last and last just forget about touch ups ! keep dancing !!

5 Stars The Sensual Skin Enhancer is the the Best!
Haven’t we all spent ridiculous amounts of money on make-up that just doesn’t do what it says it is going to do? Well, after years of trying to find the perfect foundation, this is it, my friend. Let me explain: Do not let the small packaging fool you. At first, I was dismayed myself: “I paid $45 for this?” But it is a very good investment. This little jar will last you almost one year. At least 6 months if you use it every day. Try this: For a foundation, just a teeny-tiny dab, on a make-up sponge or in your hands, mixed with your moisturizer, goes a very long way. Just a tiny dab, now. Even a tad bit smaller than your pinky nail when it is cut down to size. That is all you need for medium coverage. This is very surprising to me! Plus, it has real staying power, I am surprised at this too. And, it smells good, which is important to me (I cannot stand beauty products that stink). It is an excellent concealer as well. Basically, you will wonder how you have done without it. Great value. It looks so very natural, and healthy. Why settle for anything else?

2 Stars If only…….
I have always respected Mr. Aucoin and his shear genius. I was thrilled that his cosmetics were still in circulation after his passing. I prayed his products will live up to his name.

I was wrong. This enhancer was to rich and creamy-thick for my complexion. It did provide coverage, but it looked too theatrical for me. For a model’s photo shoot I could certainly see this being used with high end results. But it is not for everyday use and office lighting.

So I am torn when I cannot give this product 5 stars. I could give it to him, the man, in a heartbeat, but the product just doesn’t meet my standards.

If only it wasn’t so heavilyy textured, I would love the product.

5 Stars Skin Enhancer works as promised
I was intrigued by the reviews but was having a difficult time selecting the color. I googled & went to the K. Aucoin website and found color matching information more helpful. It is true that you need to practice a few times the right amount product & mix with moisturizer. But when you do get it right (3rd try) it is definitely worth it. I use philosphy skin care & use a bit of the moisturizer + capsules + tiniest bit of this product. I’m very self-conscious about my makeup due to redness, etc. I’m very satisfied with the results, and will purchase again.
