4 Stars Lovely
I put it on top of my daily cream/sunscreen/powder, it makes my skin look and feel silky smooth though it does little to the pores.
2 Stars What is this for?
The instructions say to put it on after your powder but that just smears your makeup around. If you try to put it on before it is difficult to get it evenly applied and so your makeup sticks to certain places but not others. It also totally caused me to break out.
4 Stars Dr. Feelgood makes me Feel Good
Dr. Feelgood is a great conditioning balm with a light, fresh scent. It works well under or over makeup. I love cosmetics, but I’m somewhat low maintenance AND on a budget. The $30 price tag on this turned me off for awhile (thus only the four stars), but I found myself continually visiting the Benefit section in Sephora to use it. I finally bit the bullet and purchased it, and I have yet to regret it. I use it after applying my makeup in the morning, then once or twice again through the day as a touch-up. I love the way it makes my skin feel, and I think for me personally it really has helped with my skin’s condition. I have combination skin – the conditioners in Dr. Feelgood originally made me nervous, but I have yet to breakout from using it. In fact, my skin has been clearer and not as red. The scent is sort of lemony and can be stronger on initial application, but it fades almost immediately. Bottom line, I really like this balm, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to compact powders.
1 Star Acne-prone skin beware!
I liked the idea behind this product and I loved the packaging. Unfortunately, after using it for a week, my face broke out significantly. I didn’t use it for a couple of months while my face cleared up and then I tried it again. My face broke out the second time and I ditched Dr. Feelgood. I also have very oily skin and this product didn’t help with the shine much at all.
3 Stars A bit dry but very good for “nude look”
I heard a lot about Dr.feelgood before I bought it, and was really curious about how it works. After try it, I found out it works sort of like Estee Lauder’s Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher by hiding the pores and reducing the oily look. it can be very good for the “nude look”. My skin is the very dry type. And I don’t like to wear foundation, so I just use Dr.feelgood after moisturizer and before some loos power. I was hoping the vitamine C it contains could help moistening my thirsty skin but it actually can’t. my face still looks very dry, some fine line even more visible in the afternoon. I don’t know if I use it right, but one thing is for sure, compare with Estee Lauder’s Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher, it is a bit too dry. However, if you like to go out with nude look skin sometimes, this should be a pretty good skin refinisher.
