5 Stars Not a Primer, Not a Moisturizer. A Great Product!
I got this with my Bare Minerals starter kit awhile back. I don’t wear makeup every day, but this product is part of my daily skin care. It’s kind of like a serum. It keeps my skin smooth and pimple-free. Also, a little bottle lasts a long time. I use this right before I use my daily moisturizer with SPF. Of course, I use it with the foundation, too, but my skin stays so nice I don’t always use the foundation.
I have combo/oily skin and if I just use this without a moisturizer, my skin will get dry. So use it as it’s meant to be used: as a vitamin serum for the skin. If you expect this product to be what it isn’t, you’ll be disappointed. But if you use this product as it’s meant to be used, I think you’ll be delighted!
4 Stars Subtle but effective
When I first got this item two years ago, it was part of a starter kit, I really didn’t use it. According to the directions, it is suposed to be a primer before using the mineral make-up. I never understood why it was billed as a primer since I could see no discernable benefit. Anyway, about a year ago I came across it in my medicine cabinet and thought I would use it as a night time moisture lotion. I used it faithfully every night and within two weeks I saw an improvement in my skin. I don’t have many skin problems, but whatever I did have was done away with. My pores looked smaller and cleaner. I have since continued to use it religiously every night and my skin has never looked better.

I love the way this lotion feels. I agree is not supposed to be used as a primer. I use it morning and night before my moisturizing cream. It always feels very light on my skin, dries really quick and leaves no oily residue. Skin feels refresh and soft.

I am 58 years old with good skin, people tell me I look like I am in my 40′s. This product does what it says, rev’s up my skin. I use it every morning and it keeps my face looker fresher than it would without. Though the price seems a bit high for 2.3 ounces, the little bottle goes a long way so it’s definitely worth it.
5 Stars Won’t leave home without it!
This product has changed the way I feel about my skin. Before, my face was red, dry/oily and acne-prone at certain times of the month (which I thought I had outgrown years ago). My dermatologist told me I had mild rosacia. Then, I found this product. Now, I put this on every morning right after I wash my face. It feels good and makes a nice base before I put on my facial lotion (Aveeno Ultra-Calming). My skin looks so good now. I don’t need to hide under foundation anymore. I can truly (and humbly) say my skin looks great (the best ever). My skin is definitely healthier now. I won’t leave home without my ID BareVitamins or my Aveeno Ultra-Calming w/SPF. For me, it’s like protection for my skin and a guarantee to keep it looking nice. BareVitamins is not a moisturizer, it won’t cure wrinkles, it does not contain sunscreen – but it greatly improved the quality, look, and feel of my skin. My teenage niece also was pleased with the results when she used it as a spot treatment for her acne. I’ve seen it clear up minor blemishes quickly, usually overnight or within 24 hours if applied as a spot treatment in the early stages. This is a “Must Have” in my Beauty Kit!
